Little Red and the Big Bad Wolf

A Huntsman saved the day Wednesday, when a hungry wolf ate a little girl and her grandmother. After being cut out of the wolf's stomach, the little girl learned to stay on the trail and not daydream anymore.
The girl, 5 year old Elisabeth, known as the girl with the red velvet cloak, went on a mission to bring sick grandma food, when she was distracted by a wolf, and went to pick flowers, according to police. Meanwhile the wolf snuck into grandmas house and ate her, awaiting the arrival of little red. When Elisabeth finally got to grandmas, the hungry wolf was waiting in the bed dressed just like granny, and swallowed Elisabeth whole.
Earlier that morning while leaving her house, mother said, “now remember to say good morning, please, thank you, and don’t suck your thumb”. Because little red got easily distracted and daydreams, she was an easy target. Having to travel 30 minutes into the woods all alone with a basket of goodies, it was a trap from the start. All the wolf had to do was put the beauty of nature into her mind, and she was off in another land, as the wolf ran to grannies to eat her.
The curious Huntsmen was walking by and heard the satisfied wolf snoring away, and felt it was necessary to check it out. The Huntsmen was hunting this wolf for years, and was surprised to see him laying there with a full belly and missing granny. Taking out his knife, the Huntsmen slashes open the wolf's belly and out comes Little Red and Granny. Skinning the wolf and taking his fur, he was a happy hunter.
Now that Little Red and Grandma are saved they enjoyed the treats in the basket together. A nice savory loaf of bread, some sweat butter, and granny got a glass of wine. A perfect way to end the almost deathly day. The big bad wolf might had been sly, but he didn't get away with it, and the Huntsman finally had his glory.

What is news?

News: a word that can have multiple definitions, but all come back to a larger concept. To me, news means that somewhere, something was disrupted, and caused a spark of ruckus in an ordinary day. Whether it is small and can only impose on one person, or impact millions, it still has meaning, and people want to hear about it. Ways to get news out are various. We have newspapers, magazines, telegraphs, blogs, social medias, websites, television, and common gossip, they all get the word spread. Some of the most popular sources of news today, due to the younger generations taking over, are the social medias known as Twitter and Facebook. We also hear news from channels that cover top stories on tv, and some people still receive the daily newspaper. What surprises me most, is that Twitter is bigger than ever, and more people follow news on Twitter than I ever expected. Hearing what other students in class had to say, more than half of the class had Twitter and used the site daily. That is shocking to me because I personally dislike the site, and find it useless. Lesson learned is that news is something worth hearing about.
